| WELCOME TO THE 28th ANNIVERSARY Dear Club Secretary, In 2012 we celebrate our 28th Student Festival of Sport. We extend a very warm welcome to you to join us at this fantastic sporting and social weekend. In addition the event has been designed for your supporters also, and non-playing friends are encouraged to join your team. Ours sports facilities are excellent, indoors and outdoors. Students are very impressed and enjoy the facilities at our multi-million pounds National Sports Centre, in Douglas. The Island sports fraternity are renowned for both their organisational abilities and their hospitality. A recent trend is for students who have left University to return with their former sports friends, or coming as Alumni member groups. The archery teams go from strength to strength, and PRISM (Perpetually Returning to the ISle of Man) is an excellent example of what can be achieved (visit http://sport.groups.yahoo.com/group/prismarchery/). The Department of Tourism continues to strongly support student sport. We look forward to welcoming you again in 2012.
